Michael Hischer - Kinetische Skulpturen!

/ The kinetic sculptures of Michael Hischer are designed for the outdoor space. They are made of stainless steel and aluminium.
The moving elements are attached centrally to the axles by groove ball bearings. They are so accurately weighted that even the slightest breeze will set them into motion.

Zentrisch sind die Flügel montiert. Fein ausgewichtet finden sie scheinbar schwerelos ihre Mitte und zeigen so, dass sie in ihrem Innersten ganz tief der Meditation zugeordnet sind.

Kinetische Skulpturen sind vierdimensional. Denn wenn ihre Flügel ungeordnet und unvorhersehbar ihre Bahnen ziehen, handeln sie immer auch vom Vergehen der Zeit, beschreiben sie die Zeit, die in der Bewegung verrinnt. Leichtigkeit, Gleichgewicht und Balance sind ihr Thema, Entschleunigung und Verlangsamung sind ihr Wesen.

Sie vergeuden scheinbar sinnlos, was uns heute das Wichtigste scheint, - Zeit.

Die Objekte sind mit hochwertigen Industrielacken farbig gefaßt. Durch die Farbgebung separieren sich die Skulpturen aber auch von dem sie umgebenden Aussenraum und behaupten sich als eine deutliche Ordnungsstruktur.

Trotz der Leichtigkeit der Fluegel und trotz ihrer Empfindlichkeit sind die Skulpturen sturmsicher. Sie laufen das ganze Jahr hindurch bei jeder Windstärke ruhig und langsam.

/ In spite of their light weight and in spite of their sensitivity the sculptures are storm safe. They are going very slow and silent in all wind ranges all over the year.

Die große kinetische Skulptur WV 227 im Skulpturenpark Katzow ist mit acht Metern Höhe bis zu den Drehpunkten und elf Metern bis zum höchsten Fluegelpunkt das Ergebnis eines Bildhauersymposions.

/ The big kinetic sculpture WV 227 in the Katzow Sculpture Parc is eight meters high up to the bearings and eleven Meter high to the upper point of the moving elements.
The sculpture is the result of a sculpture workshop.

		Die kinetischen Skulpturen von Michael Hischer sind für den Außenraum konzipiert und aus Edelstahl und Aluminium gefertigt. Ihre beweglichen Elemente sind auf mit Rillenkugellager bestückten Achsen gesetzt und so fein ausponderiert, dass sie schon leichtester Windhauch in Bewegung versetzt.

		/ Centrally the wings are installed. Finely balanced, the wings seem to find their centre weightlessly and thereby demonstrate that in their innermost, they are assigned to meditation.

		/ Kinetic sculptures are four-dimensional, and when their wings randomly and unpredictably glide through the air, they also deal with the passing of time. They describe time that elapses in the motion. Ease, equilibrium and balance are their theme, deceleration their essence. They appear to waste so pointlessly what seems to be of utmost importance to us today – time.

		Die Objekte sind mit hochwertigen Industrielacken farbig gefaßt. Durch die Farbgebung separieren sich die Skulpturen aber auch von dem sie umgebenden Aussenraum und behaupten sich als eine deutliche Ordnungsstruktur.

		/ The objects are coloured with high-quality industrial lacquers. Due to their colouration, the sculptures are separated from their surroundings and assert themselves as a clear structural order.

		Neben den farbigen Oberflaechen entstehen auch metallische. Diese Skulptur besteht aus fein geschliffenem Aluminium. / Beside the coloured surfaces there are also metallic surfaces generated. This sculpture is made of finely grinded aluminum.

		WV 249 an der See. Die Skulptur ist ganz aus Aluminium gefertigt und haelt selbst staerksten Stuermen stand, obwohl ihre Flügel für kleine Windstaerken optimiert sind. / WV 249 at the seaside. The sculpture is made out of aluminum and resists even strong storm, although the wings are optimized for low wind ranges.
